Buying surplus wire & cable across Mississippi

Who we are

About Electrical Wire Buyers Mississippi

Electrical Wire Buyers Mississippi buys surplus electrical wire and cable from sellers across the state. That is the whole business. We are not a scrap yard, an equipment dealer or a surplus house that takes whatever is on the truck.

The narrow focus is deliberate. Wire comes in hundreds of constructions, and the difference between a good lot and a poor one is usually printed on a tag in type small enough that most buyers never read it. Doing one thing makes it possible to read it properly.

How we work

Everything starts with a description and a few photographs. We review the wire type, construction, footage and condition, then respond with a quote, a request for more information or a clear no. Prices are not published because a wire lot cannot be priced from a category name; it depends on the specific reel in front of you.

Pickup is arranged after a lot is accepted, around your dock, gate and hours. Payment terms are confirmed in writing before anything moves.

What we do not claim

We do not have offices, yards, warehouses or staff stationed in Mississippi cities. The city and regional pages on this site describe target service areas and what surplus looks like in those local economies. They are not a claim of physical presence, and there is no Mississippi address on this website because there is no Mississippi address to publish.

We also do not publish customer names, invented testimonials, star ratings, or claims about volumes purchased. You will not find a 'trusted by' logo wall here, because those things are easy to fake and tell a seller nothing useful.

The scope, one more time

Electrical wire and cable only: copper and aluminum building wire, THHN and XHHW families, MC and AC, tray, VFD, PLTC, SER, SEU, URD, USE-2, bare and insulated copper, grounding, welding cable, SOOW, control, instrumentation, communication, fire alarm, low voltage, and medium and high voltage cable from 5kV through 69kV and above.

Not in scope: transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, industrial machinery and unrelated scrap materials.

Questions

Common questions

Where are you located?

We buy across Mississippi and do not operate a staffed office or yard in the state. Contact by phone or email is the starting point for every lot, and pickup is arranged after acceptance.

Do you buy outside Mississippi?

This site is focused on Mississippi sellers. If the material is stored elsewhere, ask — coverage depends on the location and the size of the lot.

How is pricing decided?

Construction, conductor material, size, footage, condition, documentation and pickup logistics. Two lots of the same wire type can be worth different amounts for reasons that have nothing to do with the category name.

Next steps

Not sure whether your lot fits? A photo and a jacket print are usually enough for a straight answer.

Send your wire details

Everything you can fill in helps. Photographs of the reel tags and jacket print are the single most useful thing you can attach.

Request a wire quote

Tell us what the wire is, how much there is and where it sits. Photos of the reel tags and jacket print speed up the review more than anything else.
