Mississippi wire & cable buyers
WE BUY SURPLUS ELECTRICAL WIRE IN MISSISSIPPI
Reels, spools, coils and boxed inventory — copper or aluminum, full or partial. Tell us the wire type, footage and where it sits, and we will review the lot.
- Electrical wire and cable only — nothing else
- Partial reels and cut lengths are normal lots
- Statewide coverage, reviewed by phone, email and photos
01 — What we buy
Seven cable families, and nothing else
If it carries power, control or signal and it comes on a reel, a spool, a coil or in a carton, it belongs here. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, generators, MCCs and machinery do not.
02 — Sizes
From #14 branch wire to 1000 MCM feeder
The size range we buy covers what Mississippi jobs actually use: small branch-circuit wire from fit-outs and service work, mid-range feeders from commercial and industrial construction, and large MCM conductor from plants and substations.
You do not need to convert anything. Write the size exactly as it appears on the reel tag — #12, 4/0, 250 MCM — and the rest follows.
Common sizes
Copper and aluminum. Full reels, partial reels, cut lengths and boxed inventory.

Scheduled around your dock, gate and hours once the lot is accepted. Terms confirmed in writing first.
04 — Mississippi coverage
Five regions, nineteen cities
Surplus wire sits in contractor connexes, plant cribs, hospital maintenance shops, university storage and supply house racks all over the state. These are the areas we cover — not offices we staff.
05 — Who we buy from
Where surplus wire piles up
06 — Questions
Before you send a lot
The five questions that come up most. More are answered on the FAQ page, and anything else can be settled in a two-minute phone call.
What types of wire do you buy in Mississippi?
Copper and aluminum building wire, THHN, THWN-2, XHHW and XHHW-2, MC and AC cable, tray cable, VFD and PLTC cable, SER, SEU, URD and USE-2, bare and insulated copper, grounding wire, welding cable, SOOW, control and instrumentation cable, communication and fire-alarm cable, and medium and high voltage cable from 5kV through 69kV and above.
Do you buy partial reels and short lengths?
Yes. Partial reels are a normal part of surplus, not an exception. Give us the gauge, insulation type and your best footage estimate, and note the condition and where it has been stored.
Do you have an office in Mississippi?
No. The listed cities and regions are target service areas, not staffed offices, yards or storefronts. Reviews happen by phone and email, and pickup is arranged after a lot is accepted.
How do I get a price for my wire?
Send the details through the quote form or call. Wire type, conductor material, gauge, footage, reel count and condition are the core facts. Photos of the reel tags and jacket print make the review much faster.
Do you buy anything besides wire and cable?
No. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, machinery and general scrap are outside what we buy.
Talk to a buyer
If the lot is large, unusual or you are not sure what the cable is, call. Photographs of the jacket print settle most identification questions.

Sell your surplus wire
Send the details you have. Anything you leave blank can be filled in later — the photographs usually answer the rest.
Tell us about the wire
Tell us what the wire is, how much there is and where it sits. Photos of the reel tags and jacket print speed up the review more than anything else.
Ready to move that surplus wire?
Send the reel details and photos. No cost to submit, and no obligation to accept a quote.
